RedViking has been selected to receive a Siemens Customer Excellence Award for innovative design. We selected Siemens motors and drives to power multi-model main helicopter gearbox test systems (shown above) that can test 7 transmissions on a single system, with capability to test future transmissions. RedViking has designed a family of flexible dynamic test systems for multi-model testing. These systems are designed with electrical regeneration to capture up to 80% of their energy to return to the grid or use in the testing process. RedViking is committed to sustainable designs and is the leading U.S. producer of this technology. As a global organization, Siemens has been a valuable partner for these systems which are being sold worldwide.
