Typical projects include advanced battery-free AGVs for assembly lines, part delivery, high production assembly lines as well as 5G AGVs, custom specialty machines and production process engineering.
Your typical day:
- Design and implement control systems that seamlessly integrate with our custom manufacturing solutions
- Your role will be “cradle to grave” engineering for the design, development, testing, and implementation of custom automated manufacturing and test systems
- Participate in team/customer meetings to help identify requirements, specifications, timelines, and customer expectations
- Take a concept and translate it into a design and control system following customer and company specifications and budget
- Develop complete PLC programs from the ground up, as well as troubleshoot and improve existing systems
- Troubleshoot to identify and resolve any problems that may arise in electrical systems or equipment
We are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting electrical control systems for manufacturing in a plant floor setting required
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (Rockwell/Siemens) and HMI systems
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Understanding of motion control systems, servo drives, and motors
- Communication network experience, (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, I/O Link)
- Hardware design such as panel layout or industrial controls required using AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with other engineers and skilled trades in a production environment
- 30% travel includes local travel, extensive travel includes additional compensation
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities and ITAR regulations, sponsorship is not available
