Position: MES Solution Architect

Our Operational Intelligence team thrives in a problem-solving and innovative solutions environment. As a Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor, you will help drive manufacturing site transformations with custom software and automation solutions on a variety of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the latest IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies in a solutions-focused environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot MES and automation architectures using Ignition and other platforms 
  • Provide expertise in manufacturing business processes, systems integration, and computer systems architecture 
  • Gather requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and create functional specifications and proposals 
  • Independently support consulting, integration, and solution optimization initiatives 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 
  • Mid-senior level experience, 7+ years of engineering experience in a leadership role 
  • Expert knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, ERP, and quality systems 
  • Hands-on experience with Ignition, OSI protocols, MQTT, MODBUS, and other IoT technologies 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively 
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20%)
