Electrical Engineer - System Designer | Special Projects

This role: Collaborate in a multi-discipline engineering team and work on custom solutions that will revolutionize entire large-scale assembly line design. Together you will bring customer concepts from the top floor to the plant floor with the newest technology and sustainability. You will be key with our customers throughout every element of the project. Your role will be to design, develop, test and implement complex automated manufacturing systems. This position requires proficiency creating hardware and electrical designs in AutoCAD Electrical. At times you will write PLC code (Rockwell) from scratch or an existing platform. Hybrid work schedule. Relocation assistance is available.

What we are looking for: 

  • BSEE or equivalent in experience 
  • 7+ years of electrical design proficiency
  • Strong hardware design skills (panel layout/industrial controls), preferably AutoCAD Electrical 
  • Plant floor experience required 
  • Several years of PLC programming experience (Rockwell and/or Siemens) 
  • Knowledge of electrical safety codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, OSHA, ANSI) 
  • Minimal travel 
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
