Description:
Multiple Openings - Hybrid Schedule
Are you ready to work on custom solutions that no one else has designed and built?
We pair some of the finest engineers with the latest technology and global leaders in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Electric Transportation, Solar, and other exciting industries.
Everything we do is project-based. You won’t do the same thing every day.
We are expanding our controls team in response to new projects and customers. Recent projects include custom helicopter test systems, jet engine assembly lines, battery-free AGVs, leading-edge factory software and other first-of-its-kind solutions. You will be involved in every element of the project from start to finish.
Your day-to-day: As a key member of our engineering team you will provide “cradle to grave” technical support for the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated manufacturing and test systems. You will program Rockwell and/or Siemens PLCs from scratch as well as debug/enhance from existing platforms. Your input will be key as you participate in team and customer meetings to identify requirements, specs, and timelines to meet or exceed expectations. In addition to per diem, additional compensation and perks provided with projects that require extensive travel and extended hours. Relocation assistance available.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, related discipline or equivalent in experience
- Several years of PLC programming experience (Rockwell and/or Siemens) from scratch, emphasis on troubleshooting
- Experience with automation systems used for manufacturing (i.e., PLCs, HMIs, Servo Motors, and Communication Networks)
- Solid understanding of electrical schematics and drawings
- Hardware design skills such as panel layout and industrial controls
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally – level of travel will vary by position, business unit and project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven team player with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, upper management, and staff
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the U. S. and will not require employer-sponsored work authorization
