RedViking has been recognized as one of the Best and Brightest organizations for Wellness in Michigan 2 years running. The Best and Brightest in Wellness® awards program honors companies and organizations that recognize and celebrate quality and excellence in health and wellness. The winning companies were honored at an awards gala on October 20, 2017 at The Henry Autograph Collection Hotel in Dearborn. John Beach, Project Manager and Wellness Committee member accepted the award on behalf of RedViking. The Best and Brightest in Wellness® winners were evaluated by using an assessment, created and administered by SynBella, the nation’s leading wellness provider.
On-Site Wellness Support
RedViking is committed to employee health, and offers free confidential health screenings from Kapnick Strive that give feedback on important health metrics such as cholesterol levels, resting heart rate, and blood pressure. RedViking also offers healthy snack and meal options as well as an on-site gym with lockers and showers. In warm weather, our employees have access to an on-site batting cage and horseshoe pits. We also sponsor co-ed softball and soccer teams.

Randy Brodzik, RedViking’s President, is committed to wellness and leads by example, participating in fitness challenges as well as the employee softball team. “We work hard at RedViking, and it’s important that our employees have easily accessible ways to stay healthy. Committed to Healthy Communities
RedViking offers every full-time employee the opportunity to take a company-paid day to volunteer for a sponsored charitable event. This year, employees volunteered for Life Remodeled, Forgotten Harvest and Shepherd’s Table. They also participated in events like SJ5K to raise money for families burdened with long term illnesses, JDRF to support childhood diabetes and bike races to support shooting victims. We will once again participate in the annual Toys for Tots program for southeast Michigan children as well.

The Best and Brightest in Wellness® award celebrates those companies that are making their businesses healthy, the lives of their employees better and the community a healthier to place to live. The Best and Brightest program provides yearlong education, benchmarking, assessment tools and interaction amongst the best employers throughout Michigan.
